MIDWEEK ENCOUNTER
Our midweek sanctuary service provides an anointed time of  worship and powerful study in the Word of God. It grants us   another opportunity to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. We encourage the entire church body to join us.

MEN’S MINISTRIES
The word of God tells us that as iron sharpens iron…so does man sharpen man. Therefore, we have made it our Goal at South Metro Ministries to sharpen the hearts, and minds, and souls of our men through fellowship, spiritual development, prayer and various activities throughout the year.

WOMEN’S MINISTRIES
In the spring and fall of each year, the women of SMM are offered an opportunity to participate in the study of God’s Word using the format of small groups, five days of independent study each week, and a whole group DVD lesson. The last two years have focused on the Beth Moore studies of Daniel, Esther, Psalms, and A Woman’s Heart. This design provides opportunity for spiritual growth as well as making friends with like sisters in Christ. Weekly Women’s Prayer time is offered for those whose spiritual gifts include intercession.

SINGLES MINISTRIES
If you are single and 30 or above and desire fellowship with other Christian singles, this is the ministry for you. This group focuses on fellowship and monthly group activities which provide a morally and spiritually sound environment for meeting and becoming  acquainted with other Christian singles.

NEW BEGINNINGS MINISTRIES
This is a ministry devoted to those who are new in Christ, either as a first time convert or for those who are returning to their faith. It is the goal of this ministry to provide spiritual training in an easy to understand format and to equip each individual with the spiritual understanding and tools that will enable them to live a consistent and successful Christian Life.

CARE GROUPS
Every Christian needs a spiritual family: A safe place to be known and to know others. Every member or part of this body needs care, nurture, challenge, guidance, and prayer, not to mention an environment in which to ask questions and share life's struggles without the fear of judgment. Our small “Care Groups” provide the perfect setting where these moments can be experienced. This ministry meets monthly.

HOSPITALITY MINISTRY
Most visitors will decide within the 1st eleven minutes of entering the church doors if they will be coming back or not. Our Hospitality team plays the lead role in making those 1st eleven minutes count. A warm welcome, a bright smile, a hello and a handshake are just a few of ways we strive to make our visitors feel at home. This ministry operates on a rotating basis.


USHER MINISTRY
This is a ministry for men who love to serve by not only assisting with the receiving of offerings, but also with greeting and seating of worshipers. All that is required is a warm and friendly smile and willing hands. Ushers serve on a rotating basis.

SECURITY AND TRAFFIC CONTROL
We are a team of men who serve God, family and our church.  We are a team of men who are working together to become  Servers above Servers and Men above Men who strive to keep  the house of God and family of God safe, inside and out.
