Worship Arts

The worship arts department at South Metro Ministries is an exciting area of ministry. Areas of this ministry include both performing and technical arts. Some of the departments include sanctuary choir, praise team, praise band, orchestra, audio engineering, camera operation, lighting, and computer operation. The whole department functions together as a team to usher in an atmosphere of praise and worship to our Lord Jesus Christ. Those with gifts in any of these areas are encouraged to get involved and be a part of this important ministry of the church.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     CHOIR AND PRAISE TEAM
If you desire to join the  Sanctuary Choir please contact our Pastor of Music or join us for choir practice on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. in the choir room following the worship service in the sanctuary. The praise team members are selected from within the choir

ORCHESTRA AND PRAISE BAND
If you play an instrument and are interested in joining the orchestra or praise band contact our Pastor of music.

SPECIAL EVENTS PRODUCTION
If you are interested in working with dramas and productions and are gifted in the area of stage construction, costume design, makeup artist, prop development, banner design/development, lighting, video, light electrical and stage decoration, this may be your area of service. Contact the pastor of Music for more details on how to serve.   

AUDIO / VISUAL TEAM
Involves training in monitoring and operating the sound equipment.  May be called upon to serve in weddings, funerals and special events.

MEDIA RESOURCE CENTER
Includes service and training in duplicating, marketing and sales worship CD's and DVD's.
